Hi John, my name is Tyler, and I'm the Executive Director of Iowa Senate Democrats.

Today, I wanted to explain the work Iowa Senate Democrats have been doing, and I’m going to ask for your support on our journey to defend reproductive freedom, reduce costs for Iowa families, support public education, and protect workers’ rights.

Here’s how you can help now if you don’t have time to read the whole plan:

The Iowa Senate Majority Fund (ISMF) is powered by grassroots donations from across the state: $15, $35, or whatever you’re able to give, can go a long way toward electing Democrats up and down the ticket next year. Could you contribute any amount to support our work today?

John, let me be clear: Iowa has been a tough state to elect Democrats, and that’s why we’re so often overlooked.

Though this state can be tough, our progressive coalition is tougher.

During last month’s elections, voters in Iowa’s school districts overwhelmingly picked progressive candidates over conservatives.

Who took home massive losses? Moms for Liberty and Family Leader-backed candidates who ran on defunding public schools, banning books, and attacking LGBTQ+ children.

Iowa Republicans won’t stop pushing their extremist agenda, but the Iowa Senate Majority Fund is working just as hard to invest in a better future for our state.

Here’s what’s on our 2024 agenda:

✅ Defend reproductive freedom
✅ Invest in public education
✅ Lower costs for working Iowa families
✅ Protect workers’ rights
✅ Support Democratic candidates in every corner of the state

John, we need to form a large grassroots coalition of donors and supporters in order to accomplish this straightforward and ambitious agenda.

We’re relying on your support. Even just $35 would go a long way toward building up our resources and fueling Democratic victories this cycle. I’m asking you personally, John – would you chip in whatever you can to support the Iowa Senate Majority Fund?

[CHIP IN]

In solidarity,
Tyler, Executive Director
