G’day John,
With the end of the year in sight, I'm happy to share with you our brand-new winter 2023 edition of Freedom's Champion ([link removed]) magazine!
This winter 2023 issue of Freedom’s Champion highlights Atlas Network’s most impactful partners advancing the values of liberty and freedom worldwide by delving into the compelling stories and insightful features that encapsulate the spirit of freedom, advocacy, and progress.
As I was paging through our Freedom’s Champion winter 2023 issue, I came across an incredibly inspiring story that I couldn’t help but share with you. It’s about Dr. Carol Gandolfo, a psychologist whose journey is a testament to resilience, determination, and the power of advocacy.
Dr. Gandolfo’s story resonated deeply with me for several reasons. Imagine dedicating years of your life to earn a license and build a career, only to encounter roadblocks preventing practice in a new state. Her willingness to pivot and offer expertise through volunteer work while facing substantial professional hurdles reveals her unwavering dedication to helping others in need and is truly commendable.
Equally admirable was the intervention by the Goldwater Institute, advocating for legislative change to recognize out-of-state licensing. These efforts not only supported Dr. Gandolfo but aimed to empower other licensed professionals facing similar obstacles.
Dr. Gandolfo’s journey speaks volumes about standing up for the individual liberties that precede government. Her story is a reminder that with determination and support, individuals can break down barriers that hinder them from reaching their fullest potential.
In addition, you’ll read about:
* Mohamad Machine-Chian’s inside view of how he helped build the movement for individual rights and democracy in Iran despite facing political persecution and threats to his life.
* Atlas Network’s Jennifer Porter interviews world traveler and freedom advocate Marion Mitchell to discuss why she joined the Fisher Legacy Society, Atlas Network’s planned giving program.
* Brad Lips, CEO of Atlas Network, remembers the legendary investor Sir John Templeton, who pioneered philanthropy focused on curing poverty instead of merely treating it.

Vale
