Speaker Johnson sends us home early every chance he gets, even though there is certainly still plenty for Congress to be working on. His inability to lead his party, negotiate in good faith with other government leaders, and move the House's work forward leaves working families across the country high and dry.
Our party and our leadership have proven time and again that when vital legislation is on the line, we will stay late, burn the midnight oil, and get the job done.
This Speaker and his impossible caucus would rather just call it quits.
