John, you are hearing a lot about goals and deadlines, and as Brian’s campaign manager, I wanted to make sure you know how we’re putting your contributions to work. These are a few line items on our campaign budget:
- $26.94: Six clipboards. Our volunteers are out knocking on doors across the district and they need the supplies to talk with voters. (Don’t worry, we have a lot more than six - we just needed a few extra.)
- $66: 100 stamps. From thank you notes to our event hosts and donors, to campaign updates, we send a lot of mail, and your contribution helps make it happen.
- $700: One point of television. Dallas has one of the most expensive media markets in the country, and we need to make sure that Brian’s message reaches voters across the district.
- $1,253: Healthcare for our team. We have a stellar team, and I’m proud to work for a candidate that puts his money where his mouth is and provides high quality healthcare for his staff.
As of 8:00 CT this morning, we’re so close to hitting our December mid-month fundraising goal. But with the House majority on the line in 2024, close won’t cut it – we need all hands on deck to keep our fundraising on track and make our budget.
Brian asked me to reach out one last time with a request: Will you pitch in $5, or whatever you can, before midnight to ensure we hit our goal? With our first-ever FEC end-of-year deadline approaching at the end of the month, it’s crucial we stay on track.
