Building on a strong team of diverse experts in their fields, Governor JB Pritzker announced the following appointment in his administration

Grace Pai will serve as a Member of the Commission on Discrimination and Hate Crimes.* Pai currently serves as the Executive Director for Asian Americans Advancing Justice where she has led the successful campaign to require Asian American history to be taught in all public schools and created an in-house organizing training program that has trained over 125+ community leaders. She previously served as the Midwest Region Senior Community Organizer and Organizing Director. Prior to joining Asian Americans Advancing Justice, she drove progressive missions at Asian American Midwest Progressives and the Asian American Advocacy Fund. She serves on the Board of Directors at Kan-Win. Pai received an AB in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
