The rise of far-right extremism in the United States and Europe, fueled by
hatred and coupled with violence, poses a significant and growing threat to
public safety. The Counter Extremism Project (CEP) provides urgent and original

Our Essential Focus On Far-Right Extremist Groups
The rise of far-right extremism in the United States and Europe, fueled by
hatred and coupled with violence, poses a significant and growing threat to
public safety. The Counter Extremism Project (CEP) provides urgent and original
research into the activities of violent right-wing extremist (VRWE) and
terrorist networks, which constitute an increasing global threat that has been
accelerated in large part by online platforms and communication tools.

CEP's far-right research analyzes these groups and their activities, and goes
even further by investigating their transnational connectivity, fundraising and
financing schemes, and propaganda tactics.
This year, CEP exposed the connections between VRWE and organized crime – the
first critical analysis of this topic. Our new research uncovered the financial
strategies of right-wing extremist organizations in the United Kingdom and
Germany and outlined policy recommendations for thwarting them. CEP also
published cutting-edge findings on the growth of the largest transnational
right-wing extremist combat sports network, known as Active Clubs, in the U.S.,
Canada, and Europe.
We rely on the generosity and support of individuals like you to continue
these vital research initiatives that are essential to understanding the
ideologies that fuel far-right extremism and to developing strategies to
disrupt their activities.
Your commitment to this important research is not just a financial
contribution; it is a statement against hate and extremism.
