We have another App Challenge Winner!

We love celebrating incredible local talent and innovation every year through the Congressional App Challenge. This week, we announced Aarav Khatri from Robbinsville High School as our 1st place winner! Khatri’s app “Symptofy” provides doctors with a summary of the severity of a patient’s symptoms to determine the effectiveness of their prescribed medicine and diet. It would help keep healthcare providers informed as they navigate complex treatment options for medical disorders causing multiple symptoms across the body.

Khatri says he was inspired to make the app after his grandfather was diagnosed with Parkinson’s and the complexity of his symptoms led to misdiagnosis and delays in treatment.

Remembering Sandy Hook

This Thursday, we remembered 20 children and six educators stolen 11 years ago at Sandy Hook Elementary. Congressman Kim stood with colleagues to make it very clear Congress must honor their lives and all lost to the gun violence epidemic with impactful legislation, not just words.
