We're in a pickle here...
Due to the ongoing public health concerns we are canceling upcoming field activities and will no longer be going door-to-door. This is to protect our volunteers, and the health of the vulnerable populations' we visit many of whom lack good affordable healthcare coverage.
Still, we need to prepare for the election and old fashioned door knocking is our most effective and cost efficient way to persuade voters. This will mean I need your help like never before.
Step 1: Canvassing is how we were collecting the petitions we need to be on the November ballot, and now we need so by another means. Can you commit to printing this out, getting 10 close family, friends, and *healthy* co-workers to complete as well (they must be registered voters in the Brandon area) and then mailing them back to us?
Step 2: Please forward that petition to your network that live in District 59 (district map), tell them why we need their help, and ask them to complete it and mail it back to us as well. Sharing our campaign organically is how we will combat this hurdle in our path. Here's a few links to help you share our campaign:
