Tonight I addressed the nation on the coronavirus pandemic.

This is the toughest health crisis the world has faced in decades. We must do everything we can now to treat the sick, protect the vulnerable and contain the spread of this virus.

As we've seen overseas, the earlier and the faster the response, the better the outcome. More can and should be done – and there's no room for delays.
