Hi everyone,

I hope you're doing okay. It's been a hell of a week.

So, we won't be meeting in person tomorrow. The libraries are closed and it's just not worth meeting elsewhere and risking someone getting sick. (Fingers crossed we'll be back to normal soon.)

However--ain't technology grand! We can meet online! I've scheduled a "Zoom" meeting at 2:00. If you have not used Zoom before, it is a free conferencing service that you can use on your computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Follow this link a few minutes before our time to meet: [link removed] [[link removed]]. Our meeting !D is 880 263 505.

You can either download the Zoom app ahead of time and click to join at 2, or it will prompt you to download when you open it. If you have problems shoot me an email/text/Slack message and I'll try to help. (Here's a handy tutorial. [[link removed]])

This will not be your average meeting, we've only got 30 minutes and I think it'll be more about touching base. I'd also like to do these every Sunday for the time being, I think it's a good idea to check in on each other right now. If any of us needs anything, I'd like to think we've for enough heroes in this group that we can take care of it. Am I right?

I've contacted our 3 MOC offices and we'll be setting up some sort of teleconferencing for our meetings as well. I'll keep you informed.

On a personal note: my restaurant closed this week so I'm out of work until who knows when. If you have any virus-proof job leads, please hit me up.

If you've already got cabin fever and need an activism fix, you can send post cards for Arizona and Colorado [[link removed]], or write letters for Vote Forward [[link removed]]. Resistance Labs has a bunch of different texting campaigns [[link removed]], easy and a great time-killer. (If you know of any remote phone banking, let me know!)

Please look after yourselves, wash your hands and practice social distancing, and keep in touch. We'll make it through this.

Much love.

Shannon
