This is Senator Brian Schatz of Hawaii with an urgent request...

At 1am this morning, the House passed a coronavirus relief bill on a
bipartisan basis. The president said he would sign this bill.

But inexplicably, Mitch McConnell won't reconvene the Senate until 5:30pm
on Monday. We know that every day matters. Every hour matters.

On the PCCC's petition page, you can tell us if you are personally
impacted by the Senate's delay. The PCCC will Tweet a few stories that you
share so Senate Republicans, the media, and the President see the
consequence of McConnell's delay.

McConnell isn't treating this urgently. We simply must reconvene the
Senate. No excuses.
