Team,
I love history, especially Pennsylvania history. I share facts with pretty much anyone who will listen. Just ask Terese and my daughters.
That’s why I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share a piece of history with you today, friend.
On this day in 1791, the Bill of Rights was ratified, guaranteeing many of the freedoms and liberties that Americans cherish today – rights such as the freedom of speech, religion, and press.
These 10 amendments, drafted separately from the Constitution, represent the first steps taken to creating a more perfect Union.
As your Senator, I go to Washington every day to protect these fundamental rights and more. Pennsylvanians put their trust in me to fight for what’s right, and that’s not something I take lightly.
I’m running for re-election because I want to continue to fight for all Pennsylvanians in the Senate, but this is going to be the toughest race of my career, and I can’t win it alone.
Can I count on you to chip in $5 or whatever you can today so I can continue fighting for working families across the Commonwealth?

With gratitude,
Bob Casey
