** A Note from Patrick Gipson….
------------------------------------------------------------

I’m here for you—the people of the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys. I was born here, grew up here, and am raising my family here.

I served as a Los Angeles Deputy Sheriff for two decades, helping and protecting the people of the community I love.

Now I’m running for Assembly. Costs and taxes are too high, and people feel unsafe in their neighborhoods and homes.

Let’s face it: politicians like Assemblywoman Pilar Schiavo have cared more about the multi-millionaires and special interests in Silicon Valley and Sacramento than they do about you. They vote against tax cuts, weaken laws on felons, and support policies to increase our energy bills.

As a kid, my family spent time being homeless, but I worked hard through high school, got a job as a lifeguard, and eventually embarked on a law enforcement career. I’m a proud member of a union, but I also see firsthand the struggles of small business owners to keep their doors open and workers employed.

I’m running because we need solutions, and that’s what I aim to deliver. The Los Angeles region is too expensive for families. I will vote to lower your cost of living and taxes, work to make our streets safer by equipping our law enforcement officers, and advocate toughening laws against the bad guys. I know that we can’t truly solve our unhoused crisis if we don’t stop the flow of fentanyl and other opioids hitting our streets.

You can help me get this done and deliver real results for you.

Sincerely,

Patrick Gipson
Retired Deputy Sheriff

Santa Clarita Valley Signal

Irene’s first fostering experience was that of fostering her own grandchildren. This experience was so life-changing that she decided to keep her doors open for those in need after her grandchildren left.

Irene now plays host to five foster children. This leaves her with having to make five Christmases possible.
