Another Woke Spending Spree 💸





They sold you out, folks—and there’s no excuse.



After months of trying my hardest to get a piece of legislation that actually
benefits the American people, Congress pulled a fast one on us. We’re stuck
with a stocking full of coal this Christmas season, and to no one’s surprise,
President Biden will give it his stamp of approval in no time.



The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is $886 billion
<[link removed]>
worth of nonsense. There’s a boatload of garbage in this bill, but let’s
unpack some of the biggest loads of liberal crap.



First off, it will pour more cash into extending FISA
<[link removed]>
, a surveillance program that practically hands the FBI a magnifying glass to
peer into our lives. Sure, they claim they’re on the God-honest hunt for
terrorists, but they’re really threatening the privacy of everyday Americans.
If you’re caught in a conversation with someone theymight suspect, you’re under
their dadgum microscope—and the alphabet agencies have a very different
standard than most of us when it comes to who is a “danger.” Theyexploited FISA
to eavesdrop on the Trump campaign

and to wrongfully dig intomillions of Americans
<[link removed]>
’ emails and online records. Talk about a breach of trust.



Next up on the list of absurdities in this bill: Sex change operations for
transgender service members

. Because that’s clearly a high-priority issue whenChina
<[link removed]>
is nipping at our heels and militaryrecruitment
<[link removed]>
is scraping the bottom of the barrel. At the end of the day, this will cost us
millions of dollars once all is said and done. From lifelong hormone medication
to ongoing medical services, the price tag of woke trans legislation will keep
getting higher—and our tax dollars foot the bill.



Of course, they also threw in even more unchecked dollars to help Ukraine,
authorizing a whopping $300 million for a war that isn’t ours to fight. It's a
tough pill to swallow, but this is what happens when the swamp prioritizes woke
madness and war-mongering over all else.



This not-so-merry legislation is a real letdown, and I can assure you that I
gave it my all to put a stop to it. Even though it's disheartening, here's my
promise to you: I'll keep on fighting the good fight, no matter how tough it
gets. Your trust means the world to me, and I'm truly grateful for it.




 



Game Day Parking For A Good Cause 🚘

Paying $40 for parking is no surprise at a sporting event, but never
underestimate a Tennessean’s ability to make those dollars do some good.



Since 1997, the Ronald McDonald House <[link removed]> has used its
parking lot for home games. In addition to a smile and a wave, you get a
parking spot that ishelping families
<[link removed]>
who are traveling to Knoxville to get treatment for their kids at East
Tennessee Children’s Hospital.



An amazing $250,000 has been raised through this effort over the years, giving
the organization the money it needs to keep its doors open and provide a home
away from home for families of sick children.



As always, the wonderful folks of Tennessee inspire me with their do-good
nature and natural desire to help others in need.
