But first, please give me a chance to explain why this request is so important, especially today.

December is a busy month for many, my family included, because of the holidays and the upcoming new year.

But in the political world, it's a critical time. Not only is it our last chance to fundraise and gather the resources we need before the election year. But it’s an official FEC fundraising deadline month, and our final opportunity to report strong fundraising data to the country.

When it’s over, we’re legally required to report how much money we’ve raised, and even more importantly, how many donations we’ve received.

But right now, we’re starting this month slower than we anticipated, which means we need to pick up the pace or risk falling behind. And I mean it when I say we can’t let that happen — there is simply too much at stake.

So can you please contribute $3 or whatever you can afford to our movement before our mid-month deadline at midnight?

The fundraising numbers we report at the end of the month not only translate to the momentum of our movement but will show the press, political pundits, and naysayers the scope of our impact on close races — races that will determine the outcome of the House and Senate majorities.

The stronger the number we put out, the greater the impact we can make on critical races in 2024.

So as we approach our midmonth fundraising cut-off at midnight, leaving us just two weeks from the FEC deadline, I’m asking:

Can you contribute $3 to our movement today? We have a gap to close if we want to report strong fundraising numbers, and need a big day here to stay on track.
