You've likely seen the stories about our courageous plaintiff, Kate Cox, who was denied an abortion by the Texas Supreme Court in a ruling that showed that abortion bans are dangerous, and medical exceptions don't work.

2024 is gearing up to be a very important—and busy—year in the fight for reproductive rights. Here are just a few of the many things our team will be working on going into 2024:

• As the U.S. Supreme Court prepares to hear arguments in a case threatening medication abortion, we will continue to advocate for access on behalf of our clients and partners.
• We will continue to fight in courts across the U.S. for women who have been denied medically necessary abortions.
• Our team in Latin America and the Caribbean will continue to work to liberalize abortion laws in the region, while also looking at how environmental degradation—for example, the use of toxins in agriculture and in humanitarian settings—is causing reproductive damage to people throughout the region.
• And the Center's Global Advocacy team will continue to work on the larger issues impacting reproductive rights, including how the lack of reproductive health information and services disproportionately affects women and girls around the world.
