Important Voter Update

FDP-Logo

Keeping our staff, supporters and everyone in Florida safe is our number one priority for the upcoming Florida Primary Election. We have been informed that voting officials are taking extra precautions to make sure that everyone can safely make their voices heard in these uncertain times.

We have a voter protection hotline if you have questions not answered in this email. The number is 1-833-868-3352.

Here’s what you need to know about the election this Tuesday:

Election officials say they are taking extra care to ensure each voting booth is properly disinfected and will have ample hand sanitizer on hand. They’re working with public health officials to carry out this election safely and securely.
Vote By Mail is the safest and easiest way to vote. You can also do it from the comfort of your own home. If you have a vote-by-mail ballot, please return it in time for your SOE to receive it before 7:00 PM on March 17, 2020. If you have questions about returning your ballot you can call our voter protection hotline at 1-833-868-3352.
If you have not signed up for vote-by-mail this election, but would like to vote from the comfort of your home in future elections, you can submit a request online at your county SOE’s website. More instructions can be found here: [link removed].
If you are voting in person, some assigned polling locations have changed. To determine your assigned polling location, go online to your county SOE’s website or call your county SOE. In Broward polling locations can be looked up here.
If you have questions about the location assigned to you, call our voter protection hotline at 1-833-868-3352. Phone numbers and links to all 67 county supervisors of elections at this website: [link removed]
We understand that many of us are feeling anxious as we face this pandemic as a nation. But, the American people, and the state of Florida, are strong.

Our democracy depends on all of our full participation. We’re confident that elections officials have taken the appropriate precautions to make voting safe -- please step up and make your voice heard on March 17th.

If you have any questions about voting please call our voter protection hotline: 1-833-868-3352.

Thank you,

Florida Democratic Party
