Action
It’s the end of 2023 and we’re saying good-bye with a highlight of some of our top actions!
Laila hosted a wheat pasting event for the Abortion on Our Own Terms week of action around Washington, D.C. Peep these *amazing* flyers below:
Evonnia co-organized a webinar series co-sponsored by Sociologists for Women in Society entitled, Integrating Teaching, Research, and Activism. It consisted of three discussion panels where movement leaders and academics discussed how education, research, and activism are reflexive processes. You can watch it here.
Did you miss our latest webinar? No worries, we’ve got you covered: Listen to a recording of They Want To Ban Travel for Abortion-Seekers here. And stay tuned, we’ll be back in the new year with more webinars focused on the many aspects of reproductive justice.
On Our Blog
As an organization grounded in the teachings of reproductive justice, we stand with those calling for peace including a cessation of attacks on civilians, a release of hostages and prisoners targeted for their identity, and the distribution of humanitarian aid to all who need.
Shireen wrote about how defeating Islamophobia and anti-Semitism requires all of us to work and challenge our biases.
Laila covered an amazing wheat pasting event spreading the word about abortion pills. She also wrote about developing the next generation of self-managed abortion leaders.
Jacqueline told us why in 2023 it’s long past time we get abortion pills in pharmacies.
