Jack, every single House Republican just voted to open an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.

Why? Honestly, not really sure. So far the only evidence that Republicans have produced is that President Biden is a loving and caring father. When asked what Republicans hope to gain from the impeachment inquiry, one representative responded: "Donald J. Trump 2024, baby."

That right there pretty much sums up the entire agenda for Republicans: They will waste time and taxpayer money punishing political enemies rather than focusing on real issues that support Americans and their families.

The worst part is Democrats face an uphill battle heading into the 2024 election season. Republicans have a real chance of gaining control in the Senate, holding on the House, and even taking back the White House.

It gets even worse. Democratic advocacy organizations don't have the resources to hire more staff and invest in critical Get Out the Vote campaigns. Actually, the complete opposite is happening, some organizations are laying staff off because of a lack of funds—this certainly is not good.

Beating Republicans in 2024 will not be cheap. Unfortunately, instead of investing in electoral campaigns, far too many organizations are chasing fundraising goals just so they can keep operating—this includes Daily Kos.
