First and most importantly, I hope you and your family are staying safe. The Center for Disease Control has guidelines for how to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and what to do if you or someone in your family begins showing symptoms. Here's a link with more information: [link removed]

I also want you to know that I'm taking this very seriously. In Washington, I have been working with my counterparts on both sides of the aisle, and last night we passed a bipartisan bill to offer support for health care providers, free testing, and paid sick leave for those affected.

The safety and wellbeing of Utahns is and always will be my top priority, and I'm going to continue working to provide the additional support, assistance, and relief that our families need.

In the interest of everyone's safety, my campaign staff will be working remotely, canceling large events, and changing our methods of voter outreach. We are not going to stop working to build a better future for Utahns -- one that makes us stronger, healthier, and better prepared for moments like this.

This has been a tough week, and I think it's made us all feel vulnerable. But amidst the anxiety we are all feeling, I have been heartened by how we've been able to put politics aside and take steps to address this outbreak together. I'm especially grateful to the doctors, nurses, and other health care providers who have stepped up to care for our community.
