We are so grateful for your support, your efforts and your interest in the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association's campaign to qualify the Repeal the Death Tax Act ([link removed]) for the November 2024 ballot. This measure will restore the ability of parents to transfer their home (of any value) and up to $1 million of taxable (assessed) value of other property to their kids without any change to the property tax bill.
And this important measure is retroactive, so anyone who was stung by a Proposition 19 reassessment for a parent-child transfer since February 2021 will be able to get their previous assessed value reinstated, as if the reassessment didn't happen.
Thanks to your generous support, today we are launching a campaign of new radio ads statewide. You'll hear them throughout the day on these stations for the rest of the campaign:
