John: I’m writing to you today in a spirit of hope!

Dear John,

I’m writing to you today in a spirit of hope! I know that we all are justly focused on caring for our families, loved ones and communities in the face of the coronavirus (COVID-19). There is little doubt this virus is having a strong impact on all areas of life around the world. Confronted with this challenge, it would be all too easy to be fearful. But God calls us to reject fear. He has called us to power, love and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).

At Human Coalition, we believe God’s word and His promises. We believe we can and must walk with confidence in God’s providence and love for us. In these challenging times, we can cast our minds on Christ and not lose heart.

Human Coalition is founded on the belief that every human life is made in the image of God. We believe that human life has extraordinary intrinsic value and God-given dignity. We mourn with those who have lost loved ones as a result of this virus. And we pray for those who are sick and those who are fearful.

That’s also why I’m writing to you to ask you for your prayers. Our work at Human Coalition focuses on the most vulnerable of God’s children: preborn babies and the women who carry them. Now, perhaps more than ever before, they also need our prayers.

During times of uncertainty, the body of Christ cannot cease being the body of Christ. Neither can we cease in doing the work we’ve been called to do. You have my word that nothing will halt our fight for a culture of justice, love and life. We remain fully committed in our mission to protect and nurture life. While Human Coalition is taking proper precautions to protect the health and safety of our staff and clients, we continue to serve families and rescue children even during this unique time in history.

The lives of the preborn and the needy should never go without a voice. Since it is our mission to give them that voice, we will continue in service to them and humility before God our Creator.

Thank you for your support and prayers. We are praying for you, your families, and your communities. And we trust in God’s sovereignty in times certain and uncertain!

“For we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Yours in Christ,

Brian Fisher
