Dear Neighbors,
I am proud to announce that I will be seeking re-election for my fifth term as your State Representative. Throughout my time in the Texas House, I have worked hard to represent the people of HD-18 with unwavering commitment. Contrary to the messaging of a few special interest groups who would much prefer a talking head to do their bidding, my conservative record is rock solid. We have achieved substantial victories to protect our state, our small businesses, and our kids.
This past session I had the privilege of passing, authoring, and supporting key pieces of legislation that directly impact our community. We secured over $5 billion for the construction of the southern border wall, strengthened law enforcement's authority to deport illegal aliens, implemented the largest tax cut in Texas history, and advocated for a cost-of-living adjustment for retired Texas teachers.
Addressing critical issues has always been my priority. I've co-authored legislation to provide reliable, high-speed internet access for underserved areas in Texas, recognizing the importance of connectivity for rural communities. As a strong supporter of public education, I have worked to increase opportunities for our students and to ensure the success of our local schools. I've been a staunch supporter of law enforcement, voting against any efforts to defund the police. I've gained invaluable experience through appointments to influential committees, and have had the honor of serving as the Chairman of both the Texas Legislative Sportsmen's Caucus and the General Aviation Caucus.
The endorsements I've received over the years from conservative leaders and organizations have truly been humbling. But most importantly, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the continued support from my family and our community. I'm dedicated to seeking re-election, and I will persist in upholding the values I have consistently exhibited, working to address real issues affecting people's daily lives.
Thank you for entrusting me with the responsibility to represent you, and I look forward to continuing to work together for the betterment of our community.
God Bless Texas,
