Fight to End Fossil Fuel Subsidies
In recent days, two new global reports highlighted the challenge we face when it comes to slowing climate change.
First, a new report on climate and health shows that older adults, among many others, are dying in increasing numbers because of recent extreme heat events around the world.
Then, another troubling report found that fossil fuel subsidies are pushing us closer and closer to irreversible climate chaos around the globe. Some estimate that the United States subsidizes the fossil fuel industry around 20 billion dollars a year.
