Dear John,
We have come to a point in time where confusion is bringing a dark cloud over the American people -- including some leaders in government.
In the 1980s the sexual liberation movement was widespread, and a secular perspective was overtaking our nation's highest seats of government. Few political leaders were willing to take a stand against the radical ideologies taking hold of our nation.
A group of believers visiting Washington, D.C., joined Dr. James Dobson in prayer seeking how to respond. Though they knew at that moment that time was limited and the fight wouldn't be easy -- they heard God's call to establish Family Research Council in 1983 as a unique policy organization dedicated to advancing biblical truth in public policy and the culture.
Over 40 years have passed, but thanks to faithful supporters along the way, FRC is still standing strong on our mission to serve in the kingdom of God by championing faith, family, and freedom.
And now it's more important than ever...
We are moving forward through some of the darkest days in our nation's history. The voices of radical ideologues are shouting in the public square while simultaneously attempting to intimidate and silence those who care about biblical truth.
But don't give up! There are millions of men and women across the nation who just need to be encouraged and equipped to make history -- and FRC has the strategic plan to do it!
Will you help us rebuild the spiritual walls of our nation, reach these believers, reinforce their stand for truth, and resource the mission?
Then take advantage of the $1 Million Year-End Challenge Grant to multiply your partnership with FRC -- so your gift of $50 becomes $100! We must reach our $3.5 Million budget goal by December 31 to be financially prepared to stand strong for biblical truth in the coming year.
And when you give generously today, you'll receive a free copy of our new Stand on the Word Journal as a token of our appreciation for your willingness to stand firm.
DOUBLE MY VITAL GIFT NOW
The Left is trying to change policy and culture in ways that will destroy our nation -- but there are still believers standing for the Word of God.
In an interview reminiscing about the ministry's 40th Anniversary with FRC's founder, Dr. Dobson, I asked him to share his thoughts about the battles ahead.
His response was simple: Continue to stand -- look to the Lord and He will deliver.
Dr. Dobson knew at our founding that the most important issues of the day could be solved if a group of dedicated believers would look to the Lord for guidance and fight for His Word to light a path for future generations. He shared:
"We got on our knees that night and prayed. We asked the Lord to bless what we were going to try to do because it was not going to be easy. The voice of biblical truth as related to the family must be represented..."
Your partnership and support have helped build and sustain our efforts, and every step of the way FRC has stood for the Word of God.
Nothing in this fight comes quickly -- it takes time and dedication.
It's been almost 7 years since FRC first warned of the "trans train" barreling down the tracks. Legislators were frozen in uncertainty. Some thought the idea was too insane to warrant a response. Others feared that if they took the issue head on -- they would be viciously attacked as bigoted and transphobic.
But FRC stood and looked for the next step.
We shined a light in the darkness and provided lawmakers with the framework they needed to protect the nation's children from radical transgender ideology. Crafting model legislation called the Save Adolescents From Experimentation (SAFE) Act, our experts began educating elected officials in statehouses across the country.
It only took one courageous lawmaker willing to stand for biblical truth in Arkansas to make history. With support and policy research from FRC, Arkansas became the first state to pass the SAFE Act and reject the experimental drugs and surgeries endangering tens of thousands of children.
FRC sparked the flame and leaders in Arkansas carried the torch to fight for truth. Now, 22 states have taken action to try and stop the gender mutilation of children.
But states like California are pushing back on these efforts. Activists there are seeking to disarm parents who desire to protect their children with biblical truth -- even encouraging children to leave their families in other states to come to California to seek life-altering, dangerous gender transition surgeries.
FRC is not backing down and we are ready to stand firm until the end.
And your support will help us to continue to fight the critical battles ahead like that that affect your faith, family, and freedom.
So don't miss out on the chance to double the impact of your gift today!
STAND WITH FRC FOR TRUTH
In Ephesians 6:13, the apostle Paul encourages us to "take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm."
