Last week Gov. DeSantis crushed the 4th GOP Debate! Americans overwhelmingly chose Gov. DeSantis as the winner and his momentum continues to grow. He also held a town hall in Iowa on Tuesday where he highlighted how he’s the only candidate in this race who delivers results on every promise. His message is resonating because Iowans know DeSantis will FIGHT for THEM.

• We had multiple debate watch parties across Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina with supporters who are doing the work to elect Gov. DeSantis our next President.

Over the last week, Never Back Down hosted Gov. DeSantis for events in Iowa. Thousands of Iowans came out to hear from Gov. DeSantis and learn more about his faith, family, and conservative wins in Florida. 

We have also been on the road with First Lady Casey DeSantis to meet with Iowans in Eastern and Central Iowa. She has been hosting conversations with residents in dozens of towns and also joined our canvassers knocking doors!

Washington Examiner: DeSantis super PAC poaches staffers from Koch-backed AFP Action after Haley endorsement

"Never Back Down, the super PAC supporting Gov. Ron DeSantis's (R-FL) presidential campaign, has poached at least two people affiliated with Americans for Prosperity Action after the group endorsed former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley late last month. Two grassroots directors in Iowa working for AFP Action, a network connected to conservative billionaire Charles Koch, defected to Never Back Down due to their disapproval of the Haley endorsement, a source familiar with the situation confirmed to the Washington Examiner. They are now working for the super PAC's Iowa political team."

The Hill: DeSantis wins fourth GOP debate, WaPo poll says

“Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) won the fourth Republican primary debate, according to a poll of debate watchers. The 538-Washington Post-Ipsos poll found that 30 percent of respondents who watched the Wednesday debate said that the Sunshine State governor won. Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) came in second, at 23 percent, followed by former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) at 19 percent and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy last at 16 percent."

NYT: DeSantis Accuses Trump of ‘Cowardice’ for Refusing to Debate Rivals

"Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida accused former President Donald J. Trump of “cowardice” for refusing to participate in the Republican presidential primary debates after Mr. Trump boasted about facing Hillary Clinton in 2016 following the release of the “Access Hollywood” tape. “Trump denigrates military service by claiming it is ‘braver’ that he debated Hillary Clinton than what soldiers endure on the battlefield,” Mr. DeSantis, a former Navy lawyer, wrote on the social media platform X on Sunday. “Debating isn’t ‘brave’; it’s the bare minimum any candidate should do. Hiding from debates, on the other hand, is an example of cowardice.”
