John,
I'm following up to Sara’s outreach because I want to share how our work changes the states' power balance.
But first, if you're able, please help us reach our mid-month deadline with a gift of any amount to support state and local pro-choice leaders, as well as our work registering and turning out young women.
Here are a few of our biggest wins in 2023:
Virginia: A vital access point for abortion patients across the South, Virginia was one of our top priorities in 2023. In our largest campaign to date, we helped deliver a massive victory, winning Democratic control of both legislative chambers! In partnership with Planned Parenthood Virginia PAC, we conducted extensive message testing in 16 battleground districts, deployed targeted video ads across streaming platforms, and reached more than 1.5M voters in areas where it mattered most.
Ohio: We mobilized young voters to contribute to record turnout which both defeated an attempt to sabotage the pro-choice ballot initiative in August, and ultimately established a constitutional right to abortion in November! Because we invested heavily in voter registration across Ohio in the midterms, we could turn around and engage those new voters to make all the difference this year.
Pennsylvania: Vote Pro-Choice endorsed Judge Dan McCaffery in a critical State Supreme Court race this year. McCaffery WON his race, and this court will play a huge role in settling disputes over voting rights, abortion rights, and gun rights moving forward.
We still need to raise an additional $5435 before tomorrow at midnight in order to bring this winning streak into 2024. So if you're able, please consider donating any amount.
Thank you for being a part of this fight!

John,
By now, you’ve seen headlines about the pregnant woman in Texas with a fatal fetal diagnosis who was forced to seek court permission to have an abortion—and ultimately had to travel out of state just to access care.
What we know: When politicians try to control reproductive care, pregnant people and families suffer. That’s why across every state, a majority of Americans agree that abortion is a personal decision, and the government has no business interfering with our healthcare.
Our strategy: We’re fighting back at every level, investing early in state and local leaders in communities most affected by abortion restrictions. Right now, we’re focused on voter registration, engagement, and education, because we know that in order to win in 2024, we must build the foundation now.
If you're able: Please consider helping us fill the $8,500 gap in our budget before the end of this week. Support at this time of year is especially valuable, as our programs early in the calendar year are often the most cost-efficient and high impact.
John, the headlines out of Texas represent the latest horror story. Every single patient who is denied care outright or forced to jump through legal and financial hurdles is a person who deserves more from their government. No matter what state or community we live in, we all deserve to have control over our bodies and our futures.
So, if you're able, please help us bridge the gap in our budget to make sure that in 2024, we can continue building a future with reproductive freedom for all.
Thank you for supporting this work, we can't do this without you!
