North Carolina is a battleground state for voting rights, and as we head into 2024, Republicans aren’t slowing down in their assault on voters.

Just last month, a federal appeals court voted to further chip away at the Voting Rights Act – removing a key section prohibiting discriminatory voting practices. Make no mistake, this is an egregious infringement on democracy itself.

While Republicans have been spending the bulk of their time rolling back voting rights, Democrats have been pushing for life-saving gun violence prevention legislation, funds to mitigate the impacts of climate change, and fighting for reproductive justice.
