John,
NYGOP Chair Ed Cox and House GOP Conference Chair Elise Stefanik have issued a joint statement strongly opposing the New York State Court of Appeals decision in Hoffman v. New York State Independent Redistricting Commission.
In their words, "The Court's decision is plainly wrong on the Constitution and the law. In their relentless pursuit of power at all costs, corrupt Democrats in Albany and Washington have politicized the Court of Appeals. Its once esteemed reputation is in tatters."

This decision is a stark illustration of political manipulation, where the integrity of the Court of Appeals has been compromised for partisan advantage. The opposition by Democrats to Justice Hector LaSalle and the suspicious recusal of Judge Caitlin Halligan have led to a preordained outcome.
"The decision opens the door for Democrats to rig our Congressional district lines so that elections are decided not by the voters, but by politicians in a back room."

As the NYGOP, we echo these sentiments and reaffirm our commitment to fighting against gerrymandering and for free and fair elections. The people of New York deserve a system where their votes are not undermined by backroom deals and partisan gamesmanship.
This is a call to action for all New Yorkers who value the principles of democracy and fair representation.
We must stand united to restore integrity to our electoral process and ensure that every citizen's voice is heard. ([link removed] )
