These are calculated moves to undermine the democratic process, silencing the voices of young Americans who are crucial for shaping our nation's future. That’s why it's time to turn our attention to a pivotal reform that has shown remarkable success in increasing youth voter participation: transforming every state into a Vote At Home state.
A recent study has shed light on an astounding fact: states that mail ballots to all registered voters witnessed a significant surge in youth voter turnout, soaring to an impressive 86% in some states. This is a clear indication of the potential that lies in the Vote At Home system.
Currently, only ten states, along with the District of Columbia, have adopted this system. This is a start, but it's not enough. The goal must be to expand this to every state, ensuring that no young voice is left unheard simply because of outdated voting systems.
