Like you, we're keeping up with the news and our local officials on the impact of coronavirus. New updates are rolling in what seems like every day -- let's be real: every hour -- and it may feel overwhelming and daunting to think about all the ways we can keep a level of normalcy in our lives.
We're staying true to our mission and keeping our communities safe. That's why we're here to help by giving you a rundown on how to fully participate in our democracy without feeling uneasy about being in crowded and/or public spaces.
Here are some tips on how to move forward during this uncertain time and critical election season:

Make sure you're registered to vote! You can register online here. It's simple, fast, and can be done from your computer or phone. If you're not sure about being registered, you can also check your registration status;

Request an absentee ballot and vote by mail. Your Secretary of State or county's election board website will include information on absentee voting eligibility, how to request an absentee ballot, and any deadlines. States with upcoming primaries include: Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Washington D.C. (Note: Deadlines and primaries could change with the ongoing response to coronavirus.);

Keep up with local news outlets. Your local and state governments are in crisis management with the impact of coronavirus and may not quickly update their online voting guidance. News outlets in your area are a good resource to give updates on any shifts in deadlines, polling place changes, and election dates;

And lastly: us! When We All Vote is keeping up with major changes across the country and will update in our social media feeds including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
We won't mince words here: We don't know how much this will change our day-to-day lives or for how long. But we do know that you can count on us to keep voters in the loop this election.
