Dear Friend,
Happy Holidays! From our village to yours, wishing you a happy, healthy and peaceful holiday season.
We know that the holidays can be a time of mixed emotions for many. Joy and happiness and sadness and grief often coexist and can be magnified at times like this. And, for many survivors of trauma, the holidays can be even more difficult with mounting pressure and potential triggers. We asked Wendy Blanco, POV's Director of Counseling Services & Trauma Recovery, to share some holiday self care and wellness tips.

Our year end theme this year is "It takes a village." At POV we have created a village where we offer wraparound services to survivors of violence and their families. So much of what we do at POV relies on us working across programming and within our teams to help serve our community best, connecting with people and meeting them where they are. We're telling stories of our work and our impact with our communications this month, and we hope you are following along.
It takes a village.
POV is turning to you, our village of supporters, friends and allies to help us continue to be a village of support for survivors of sexual and domestic violence and their families. Consider supporting us with a donation now.
Your financial contribution today will directly impact POV’s capacity to help survivors change their lives and end the cycle of violence now and for the future.
