Join the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy?(EGLE) for the *2024 Virtual Michigan Materials Management Conference* [ [link removed] ] on February 13-14, 2024. In December 2022, Governor Whitmer signed an eight-bill package modernizing Michigan?s solid waste law. This conference is an opportunity to learn about what the changes in the law mean for your organization and how they benefit everyone across Michigan.?This conference will provide regional, county, and municipal planners; landfill, compost, and recycling facility operators; and consultants with valuable information and tools to foster compliance, advance a circular economy, and reduce our carbon footprint.?

This Virtual Michigan Materials Management Conference will use an online platform called Whova. Registrants will have the ability to network, chat with peers and EGLE staff, and contact speakers through the app.?Can?t attend all the sessions? Recordings of all sessions will be available in Whova to everyone who registers.
