John—Last night, Mike Lawler once again sided with extreme MAGA Republicans over the people of our district by voting to formalize a sham, baseless impeachment inquiry into President Biden.
This should come as no shock. Over and over again, Mike Lawler pretends to be moderate when the television is on, then turns around to do whatever extreme MAGA Republicans want him to. Not only is this man spineless, he is dangerous. It’s no wonder that, instead of working hard to lower prescription drug costs, pass gun safety legislation, and create jobs, he’s wasting taxpayer dollars on cheap political stunts. I know every corner of this district is yearning for serious, results-oriented leadership in Congress, and I intend to once again provide the Lower Hudson Valley the representation it deserves. We will defeat the television addict and wolf in sheep’s clothing, Mike Lawler, and the man he worked to elect and then re-elect as President, Donald Trump. Despite being the second-most vulnerable Republican in the House, Mike Lawler is taking his cues from Donald Trump and wasting precious taxpayer dollars on this absurd witch hunt.
