Ahead of last year’s midterm elections, our fair maps movement helped secure what the New York Times called “the fairest House map of the last forty years.” We couldn’t have done it without supporters like you.

But our fight to defeat gerrymandering politicians is far from over. As President Obama recently said, “Redistricting is no longer a once-a-decade event. The fight for fair maps is happening right now.”

That’s because there are still several states that could draw new maps before next year’s election – with more than enough congressional districts in play to swing control of the House.

That means we have two options:

(1) We can do nothing and let the GOP roll back our progress by forcing through manipulated maps.

(2) We can keep fighting and continue working to elect leaders who will help secure even fairer maps ahead of a highly consequential election.
