I’m reaching out because we’re officially halfway through the month of December, but we’re not quite where we hope to be in meeting our fundraising goal for the month.

At the end of this month, we’re legally required to report our FINAL quarterly fundraising number to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) ahead of our March primary. Once we do that, our report will be publicly available and compared against other candidates.

Unlike many campaigns in this race, we’re relying on support from individual donors to power our efforts. That means no corporate PAC cash.

If we’re going to stop the influence of big money concentrated in politics, we have to lead from the front.

We have had a wonderful quarter of receiving support from progressive groups like the National Organization for Women, Food and Water Watch, Climate Hawks Vote, and the Asian Democrats of LA County. Now we need to use this momentum to show strength and prove that we have widespread grassroots support to win.
