We're reaching out this morning to ask if you can make your first contribution — of $5 or anything you can — to Tammy Duckworth's campaign TODAY.

We're sorry to be so blunt, but Tammy's mid-month fundraising drive is coming to a close tomorrow at midnight, and with a critical FEC fundraising deadline at the end of this month, we simply cannot afford to come up short of our goals.

That's because after this month's deadline, we're legally required to publicly report our numbers. That means how much we've raised, and how many contributions make up that amount.

The truth is that those numbers will send a powerful message to everyone — one way or the other — about the strength of the support behind Tammy and her work improving people's lives and defending our Senate majority.

We get it. $5 doesn't seem like the kind of money that can take on Mitch McConnell, the National Republicans and their corporate PACs alone. But trust us when we say that it adds up quickly when all of us, all across the country, are doing our part and chipping in.
