Earlier this month, President Trump's campaign started running ads on Facebook that violated the platform's new census interference policy. And Facebook allowed the ads to run -- until people started speaking out.

This is a perfect example of our ability to make an impact. Even in the most cynical of times with the most bad-faith actors, public pressure calling for what is good and right can win out.

Sign our "Stand Against Misinformation" petition to speak out against the Trump administration's attempts to undermine the census and our democracy.

The deceptive ads should have never been approved, but Facebook responded to public calls for accountability and took them down -- a victory for our democracy.

With Census Day (April 1st!) right around the corner, we should expect that misinformation efforts will ramp up in the coming days. That's why our team set a goal of 100 signatures from every state on our "Stand Against Misinformation" petition.
