Should House Republicans do whatever they can to secure the border? Should they wait until 2024 when conservatives hopefully increase our numbers

JOHN,
Should House Republicans do whatever they can to secure the border? Should they wait until 2024 when conservatives hopefully retake the US Senate and the Presidency?
Unfortunately, the answer is no. They must do what they can to take action now.
Less than two weeks ago, a male illegal alien from Africa, indicated after illegally crossing into our country, "I love you Joe Biden, thank you for everything, Joe Biden!" (1)
This just happened. The border keeps getting worse. The illegal alien noted above was one of thousands of male illegal aliens from the African region that invaded our country, no females, or children. They come here illegally, plan to illegally stay in the country, get amnesty, and then bring their whole family through chain migration.
WHAT ARE WE DOING?
I don’t know about you, but reading this makes me angry. I support legal immigration to the United States where the best and brightest from around the world would come here. Having a porous, open border, however, is embarrassing, unsafe, and harmful to our country’s safety, well-being, and future.
In the same story, the Fox News interviewer indicated that once illegal aliens cross into our country, “They expect to get processed and get released into the United States.” Of course, they will have immigration hearing dates, but the vast majority won’t show up and will simply disappear into our country. There are no consequences for breaking our laws.

This is not right and must be stopped. Thankfully, the Republicans have control of the US House of Representatives and new House Speaker Mike Johnson is insisting on immigration enforcement and reform. He is using solid leverage to make it happen.
The Biden Administration desperately wants over $105 Billion with $61.4 Billion going to the Ukraine, $14.3 Billion going to Israel, and $14 Billion going to the border for more border agents, fentanyl detection equipment, and increased staffing to process more asylum seekers. (2)
While the $14 Billion for border security sounds good, Sen. Hagerty, a Tennessee Republican, said that providing the administration with “more money to fuel its disastrous open-borders resettlement operation is insanity.” “It would worsen the border crisis, not stop it,” he wrote on X. (3)
I agree with Senator Hagerty. Look at Texas; Governor Greg Abbott is doing an effective job working with their national guard to build fencing and to restrict illegal crossings at the Mexican Border.
What does the Biden-controlled Border Patrol do? They open the gates and let the illegals in, as shown on the photo to the right. (4) They even tear down the fencing.

Thankfully, on October 31, 2023, U.S. District Judge Alia Moses in Del Rio, Texas, temporarily blocked federal immigration authorities from destroying razor wire placed along the border with Mexico by the state of Texas. (5)
On Wednesday a week ago, Governor Greg Abbott ([link removed]) scored a significant win in his legal battle against the Biden Administration after a district court ruled that the Biden administration's complaints should be dismissed ([link removed]) . If upheld, that would mean the floating barriers could remain. (6)
This is good news, and thankfully President Trump appointed strict constitutionalists to the US Supreme Court. Even so, the Office of Homeland Security indicated that, “Encounters at the Southwest border (SWB) in FY2023 increased over 40% since FY2021 ([link removed]) , 4% compared to FY2022, and more than 100% compared to FY2019 ([link removed]) .” (7) Unless major changes to the immigration policies are made by Congress, this record-breaking porous border will only get worse.
Over 100% increase in illegal alien crossings since President Trump was in office. It’s like Willie Wonka, and we’re giving everyone in the world a golden ticket to get into our country. Terrorists, drug dealers, human traffickers, come one, come all.

THIS MUST STOP.
Yesterday, Tuesday, Dec. 5, “Migrant encounters at the southern border ([link removed]) hit the highest total for a single day ever recorded, marking yet another record broken as part of the ongoing migrant crisis which has hammered cities at both the border and across the country…There were over 12,000 migrant encounters.” (8)
12,000 illegal aliens in one day that were caught? This breaks the record of 11,747 LEGAL immigrants processed through Ellis Island on April 17, 1907. (9) That was when we did things the right way, legally.
Before we give any additional aide to Ukraine, Congress must force the President to enforce our border and stop letting so many people in through slack asylum policies or using “humanitarian parole” to let the illegal aliens come in.
Keep up the good work Speaker Johnson. Don’t flinch, don’t give an inch. The safety and security of our country is at stake. I know he needs reinforcements in Congress, and I am hoping to be able to join him next year and give him two votes - one less Democrat vote, and one additional Republican vote.

This is just one example of why it is imperative for conservatives to win in 2024. There is hope to expand our lead in the House, take the US Senate, and win the Presidency. Our way of life is on the line. Our country’s future is on the line.
This is why I formed the exploratory committee and am working to take next steps. I believe we can and must do better for our country and our families. I want to work with conservatives to make America better, to make sure that we continue to have the freedom to make choices.
Together, we can work to maintain, protect, and expand our freedoms. I look forward to working with you to get our country going in a positive direction once again.
May God bless you, and may God continue to bless our great country,
Sincerely,
Neil C. Parrott
