Did you see the note below from my campaign manager?
My phone has been ringing off the hook… Apparently, an out-of-state liberal group has launched an all-out attack on me.
They’re using my pro 2nd Amendment record to rile up their gun-confiscating base.
They’re coming after me and the entire Senate. They’re raising big money with the goal of turning Texas blue and FLIPPING the Senate for the Left.
In case you missed it, I’ve included a snip of their email below.
Friend - we can’t sit by idly as anti-Second Amendment liberals come after our freedoms. I need you to help.
“We’ve identified some of the seats most likely to flip if we concentrate our resources, and with your help we can flip... JOHN CORNYN[‘s]”
We’re still $4,620 short of what we’ll need to punch back from this latest attack.
– I need you to show the Radical Left that supporting the Second Amendment is a GOOD thing.
– I need you to show the Radical Left that we will DEFEND our freedoms and our state.

I just got word that there is a massive Leftist group specifically targeting Senator Cornyn… all because of his support of the Second Amendment.
They’re taking his pro-Second Amendment, pro-freedom record and distorting it… calling liberals from ALL AROUND THE NATION to contribute to their efforts to flip Texas AND the U.S. Senate for the Far-Left.
Here’s a snip of their appeal to liberals all across the country:

Friend, this is a declared attack. They’re naming TEXAS a seat that is likely to flip with their resources.
They’re backed by MILLIONS and millions of dollars… and they have no intention of stopping their flow of liberal cash right into the Lone Star State until it’s FLIPPED BLUE.
If we fail to respond, I’m not sure we’ll be able to handle another attack like this… I’m counting on YOU, friend!
