Your Gift Helps End Senseless Animal Massacres!

Friend,

They’re called “contests,” but there is nothing competitive or sporting about them. They are gruesome games that celebrate—and reward—the wanton slaughter of innocent wildlife for nothing more than cash and prizes.

It’s an atrocity, and it must be stopped now! Donate $20 to the Humane Society Legislative Fund today to fight against killing contests, trophy hunting and all forms of animal cruelty.

In wildlife killing contests, competitors often lure animals out of hiding with electronic devices that mimic the cries of injured young. When these animals’ protective instincts draw them into the open, they are shot on sight.

Cash and prizes are awarded for the most, biggest or smallest animals killed. In most cases, the bodies of the animals killed have no use after they have been weighed and the prizes handed out. They are sometimes tossed into dumpsters or left in the woods to rot in piles. It’s a bloodthirsty killing party.

Coyotes, bobcats, foxes, raccoons and many more need our help. Your support for HSLF today helps us fight for the sensible, commonsense protections that countless animals need, on Capitol Hill and in state legislatures around the country.

I urge you to help us put an end to the sources of needless animal suffering, including wildlife killing contests, puppy mills, animal testing, trophy hunting, factory farming and more. Please donate today.
