One of the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) key recommendations to curb the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) is for sick people to stay home. The United States, however, does not currently have National Paid Sick leave.

 

That means for many workers, staying home sick would result in a direct loss of income. For folks living paycheck to paycheck, losing an income is not an option. 

 

That's exactly why Linda is urging Congress to pass National Paid Sick Leave. Will you support the roughly 57 million American workers without paid sick leave by signing on?



The United States is the only developed nation without a national policy on paid sick leave. This is shameful -- especially during a global health emergency. Not only is it unfair to the folks without paid sick leave, but it also puts the rest of our communities at higher risk of getting sick.
