Rep. Boebert Campaigns In Garfield County As 2023 Winds Down... Need To Know: The Latest From Colorado's 3rd District Good evening, We hope your week is off to a great start! With the House potentially ending business for 2023 this week, Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is finishing the year strong on the campaign front and by continuing to produce results in her official capacity. Here's what you Need To Know this week + a graphic we encourage you to share on social media on how Congresswoman Lauren Boebert's principled approach is getting results in Congress: BOEBERT MEETS WITH VOTERS IN GARFIELD COUNTY: Back in her home county, Congresswoman Boebert met with voters at a Glenwood Springs dinner event on Sunday evening where she spoke about the work she's done for the 3rd District and stressed the importance of participating in the upcoming March precinct caucuses. The hospitable setting provided an opportunity for guests to ask the Congresswoman a number of questions on issues like getting our government spending under control and addressing our region's water demands. You can view photos from the event here on Facebook. WOLVES DESCEND ON COLORADO AS BOEBERT FIGHTS BACK: The Associated Press wrote a story on the reintroduction of gray wolves to Colorado and the danger they bring to livestock across the 3rd District. With the livelihood of some ranchers and farmers at stake, Rep. Boebert has stood up for them by sponsoring the Trust The Science Act. The bill delists the gray wolf as an endangered species, which removes federal protections and moves the process forward for states to make their own decisions. The Trust The Science Act successfully passed through the House as part of the Interior Appropriations Bill in November. NEW BILL FROM BOEBERT PROTECTS ENERGY INDUSTRY: On Monday, Congresswoman Boebert introduced HR6547, which would block a BLM rule from locking up 1.6 million acres from oil & gas exploration. The bill protects energy jobs in the region and has support from important 3rd District leaders like Garfield County Commissioner Tom Jankovsky and the West Slope Colorado Oil & Gas Association. You can hear more about the bill here from Aspen Public Radio. Make sure to follow our campaign on X and Facebook and spread our message by sending this email to your family and friends across the 3rd District!
