[link removed] [[link removed]]Dear John:

In a time of historic upheaval and massive challenges, I’m especially glad to work alongside leaders like Yuh-Line Niou.

Assemblywoman Yuh-Line Niou has been a powerful voice in the legislature for working people in the 65th District (Lower Manhattan) and across the city.

From strengthening protections for tenants and increasing funding for NYCHA to banning LGBTQ discrimination, Yuh-Line is one of our state’s fiercest progressive fighters -- and I’m proud to support her.

Last weekend, some of you joined me canvassing for Yuh-line in the Lower East Side. We can’t knock doors anymore during this crisis. But we can’t afford to lose voices like Yuh-line’s in Albany! Can you split a donation between our two campaigns to make sure we have progressive leadership at the state and city level? [[link removed]]

CONTRIBUTE [[link removed]]Yuh-Line’s parents arrived in the United States from Taiwan with six suitcases, their baby daughter, and very little money.

As an anti-poverty advocate, Chief of Staff to Assemblymember Ron Kim, and now a legislator, Yuh-Line has never forgotten where she came from, focusing on language access and other key policies to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Now, as Trump and other Republicans use Coronavirus to stoke fears instead of bringing us together, Yuh-Line has used her platform to push back ferociously against rising anti-Asian xenophobia.

Big money is pouring into this race. Yuh-line’s corporate-backed opponent will still get big money donations despite the current crisis -- it’s easy to keep calling wealthy people and asking for giant checks.

But Yuh-Line can’t host the in-person house parties that fuel grassroots campaigns. So if we want to keep her powerful voice in Albany, we have to act fast.

Please take a minute and split a donation between my campaign for NYC Comptroller and Assemblymember Yuh-Line Niou’s reelection campaign. You can support progressive leadership for our city and state in just a few clicks -- thank you so much! [[link removed]]

P.S. To combat anti-Asian bigotry during the coronacrisis, Yuh-line has been tweeting out wonderful restaurant recommendations with the hashtag #NiouYorkEats. As a lover of food AND puns, I can’t help but support her! But seriously, even $5 or $10 will help keep us both fighting for working people in NYC and statewide -- please chip in what you can now → [[link removed]]
