Hi John,

I hope the closing of this year has been treating you well so far! I love to spend this time with friends and family. Before that, I wanted to share a few of the things I’ve been up to on the campaign trail. Check it out!

I visited the Pascua Yaqui Reservation, where I got to hear directly from council leaders on their priorities for the town of Guadalupe and the Pasqua Yaqui community. I was able to learn a lot, and the menudo blanco was delicious!

I’ve always fought alongside our siblings in labor and for our working families. I was proud to be on the picket line with hospitality workers who are fighting for better wages and fair working conditions.

My husband Eddie, my son EJ, and I joined a neighborhood clean up around 51st Ave and Baseline with the Laveen Community Council and Redeem Neighborhoods. All our communities deserve clean neighborhoods, and I’m grateful I was able to do my small part in contributing to our shared spaces.

I’m so grateful to everyone who came out to my big birthday pachanga! To the hosts, staff, and volunteers who made our gathering a huge success, my heart is so full of gratitude. 

This past Saturday, we had the opportunity to meet and greet the Encanto residents in central Phoenix. We had a great turnout! I’m so thankful to have been in the community and for being able to share my vision for AZ-03.

Going into the new year, I hope you get to spend time with your loved ones, sharing stories, and eating good food!
