John, I don’t know if you heard, but Sen. Joe Manchin has officially announced that he will not seek reelection in 2024.

Now that Republicans are all but guaranteed to flip West Virginia red, we absolutely need Florida to defend our Senate majority. Plain and simple.

John, there's absolutely no denying it – the path to defending the Senate runs right through Florida. 

We've got to step up to the plate – so I’ve launched a $50,000 fundraising goal, and I need your help to hit it. Will you split $5 or more between my campaign and Catherine Cortez Masto’s to make sure that we can flip Florida and keep the Senate blue?

This changes everything. Without a Democratic incumbent running, we have almost no chance of holding West Virginia. Donald Trump won the state by almost 40 points. 

Florida is a different story. Experts are already calling this one of the most competitive races in the nation – and last time, Rick Scott only won his seat by 0.12%! 

The path to the Senate runs DIRECTLY through Florida. I know it, you know it, Rick Scott knows it, and Mitch McConnell knows it. That means Rick Scott won’t be alone with his millions in this – the GOP will be spending more than ever to keep this seat red and defeat my campaign. 

This race is in a statistical tie right now. But if we're outspent over these next few weeks, Rick Scott will retake the lead – and we may never catch back up.
