In light of the novel coronavirus pandemic, we wanted to keep you updated on what Andy is doing in Congress to protect our families and communities.

Yesterday, Andy and his colleagues passed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act to ensure that we are as prepared as possible to combat this virus. This legislation includes free Coronavirus testing, increased funding for food assistance programs, paid emergency leave, unemployment benefits, and additional funding to support states in efforts to fight the virus.

Now, it's imperative that the Senate take up this legislation to help curb the effects of this outbreak on our communities.

Andy's first priority will always be keeping people safe and he will keep doing everything in his power to make sure that we have the resources and systems in place to do that.
