→ Introduced the Providing Realistic Opportunity to Equal and Comparable Treatment for Rare (PROTECT Rare) Act: legislation that will support patients with rare and ultra-rare diseases in getting evidence-based, medically necessary care covered by their health insurance.

→ Reintroduced the TREES Act: a bill that will help homeowners lower energy costs, increase tree canopy in underserved communities, and help mitigate the effects of climate change through residential tree planting.

→ Led a group of 10 lawmakers urging the Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (DGAC), to evaluate early introduction of food allergens to prevent development of food allergies.

And this is just a handful of things Doris has done so far! We are so proud of her work even under extreme pressure – which is why we must protect her seat!
