Here are some of my primary focuses that I tirelessly champion in Congress every day. These issues hold immense potential to transform lives in West Michigan, heightening the urgency of our outreach efforts:

Healthcare - I diligently pursue practical solutions to lower healthcare expenses, including reducing the cost of prescription drugs.

Reproductive Health - As the first mother and woman representing this district in Congress, I staunchly defend a woman’s autonomy in making her own healthcare choices.

Jobs and the Economy - I remain committed to fostering well-paid jobs with comprehensive benefits in West Michigan. With rising costs affecting Americans, I advocate for measures to  put money back in Michiganders’ pockets.

Education - I endeavor to strengthen Michigan's public school system to ensure students are equipped for a 21st-century economy.

Social Security and Medicare - I oppose initiatives to raise the retirement age or curtail and privatize our social safety nets. Instead, I advocate for enhancing the efficiency of these programs by combating waste, fraud, and abuse while enabling Medicare to negotiate drug prices.
