 Stormwater Strategic Initiative Lead Announces Climate Resilience and Stormwater Parks RFPs
The Puget Sound Stormwater Strategic Initiative is pleased to announce that the grant application Requests for Proposals, totaling $2 million available funds, is now open. This opportunity is seeking local jurisdictions and partner organizations that are interested in supporting climate resiliency in stormwater management, and proposals that support the planning and community engagement needs for new stormwater parks throughout Puget Sound. Applications are due by 5pm PST on February 12, 2024 (a future round of proposals may be available in spring of 2024 if funds remain). All eligible parties, including state, local, and tribal governments, non-profit organizations, and institutions of higher learning are encouraged to apply.

Increasing Climate Resiliency in Stormwater Management (up to $250,000 per award)
The Stormwater SIL will hold pre-application office hours online on January 10 and February 7 to provide assistance to applicants developing their proposals. Find all the information and application instructions for these funding opportunities on the National Estuary Program blog.
